GROUP RULES
TGDA is an Association for and about the Tabletop Gaming Industry of and in Australia. See our Mission here .

This Facebook group is for the TGDA Community, the people in the Industry doing what they can to create great games. Here we want to see discussion on the games you are developing or designing, the struggles, challenges and indeed the successes you have made.

This page is about learning from each other as well as getting to know each other and help grow the Industry as a whole.

We are firm believers that there is enough opportunity for all to succeed, together we can do anything.

In saying that we also understand that a community needs some Guidelines, we have outlined them below. It’s not rocket science people!

BE NICE TO PEOPLE.
You learned about this in kindergarten. Same thing here. It’s important - and it’s the only way this thing will work.

KEEP IT CLEAN.
If you wouldn’t show it to your mother, don’t share it with us. And you know what we mean.

MORE, BETTER.
We’re made up of all sorts of things. So are you. Share your experiences in Tabletop Game Design here. It’ll be way more interesting, and way more fun. Be open to new things, listen to one another and remember, new ideas create new and better games.

THIS IS FOR YOU.
Use it. Share things, learn stuff, get to know us - and each other. Comment and be active in the Community. That’s the point.

RACISM, SEXISM, BIGOTRY
These have no business on this page. Treat all members with respect.
However, in saying that we understand and appreciate parody and humor sometimes touch on these issues, often in tabletop games. Often games are designed to offend for a variety of reasons, often with good intent.

DEBATE
Debate is encouraged, but remember to debate the issue not the person.
You are allowed to have different opinions, as a member your role is not to create conformity, Tabletop Games are art, and art should push the boundaries of society. Do not purposely antagonise - this is different to debating.

PROMOTION
Promotion is allowed, but spamming isn’t. Posting the same thing multiple times will result in a ban. We have a directory you can put your details into - See Support For You.

THE OBVIOUS STUFF
  • No Trolling
  • No asking for free stuff
  • No illegal activities
  • No collecting private information
  • No breaching of copyright or intellectual rights
